Had a few afternoons of bass fishing the creek in Campbell/San Jose. Started off not knowing how the day was going to wind up, saw some beds, then at night decided to tie on a whopper plopper just for the heck of it. It wound up being a great choice! Fishing topwater for bass is so much fun, I’m so glad that I caught the beginning of the topwater season! Fishing the creek is always fun, topwater bass fishing is one of my favorite techniques! That late spring/early summer transition is around the corner and topwater fishing is only going to get better from here!
