  1. I know why you where missing those fish, same thing happen to me. Doesn’t mean they where small fish necessarily, usually it means your bullet weight is bigger than your hook, the hook isn’t sticking out past the diameter of your bullet wait fair enough to pin the fish, so everytime you set the hook, the weight is popping the fish’s mouth open and the hook isn’t pinning anything. This happens because most of the time bass don’t just swallow plastic, they swallow weight and all (when pegged)
    Solutions: Bigger hook, smaller weight, not using a peg
