New sub, thank you!!! Wacky rig is awesome, I always have a pole with one tied on with me. I used to live in CT now in NC, was that 8-1/2 lb bass caught on Candlewood Lake? I used to live in one of the towns located right in between Candewood and Lake Lillinonah. I would fish the wacky rig at an abandoned quarry up there in CT and it always produced big bass there!!! If your CT lake house is near Brookfield I can tell you how to get into that quarry where there are some huge bass!!!

My favorite rig!! I use it on the Potomac and now here in Tennessee….I have caught my biggest fish even in the winter on this rig!!

I am a huge fan of a wacky rig. Nothing skips better deep under brush and on a heavily pressured fishery it really coaxes those big girls into biting!
I live on a 500 acre private lake , have a lot of visitors so I keep about 4 extra setups with a wacky rig tied on, it works from April til November, I'm proud to say I've never had a guest not catch a bass off my boat, all hail the wacky rig lol
