Brett from @brettdowdican8019 invited me out on his boat to get on some Lake St Clair largemouth bass. While we were having some pretty quick success, we changed gears and began targeting smallmouth bass once we couldn’t keep them off of our lines!

You guys hammered them! Those were all beautiful specimens. That one around 8:40 was probably the nicest most beautiful smallie I've seen from anyone this year. Good job working on that new spinning reel. Looks like it did some work! 🙌
If I were to throw a light lure on a medium heavy baitcaster would i backlash? I heard heavier lures are best for baitcaster

What year is the Triton, looks alot like my 2001 TR 20 only I have single console, amazing place to fish haven't been up in a few years

Holy smokes for sure on that smallie and nice under water release. That 1st lm bass was nice as well. Same water temps as me here Joe. Drop shot with Rich’s ooze?
