Launching from Dekkas Rock Campground on the McCloud arm of Lake Shasta, Fanny and Tim Scarbrough set out to do some bass fishing from their kayaks. Though things started out slow, they came home with a couple limits, making it a successful morning on the lake.

Nice catches. We take home about 70 bass every week. You keep catching all those fish also .
Stop catching and keeping these fish to eat. People bass fish this for the sport especially in Shasta as spotts grow slow. If you want to catch and cook go catch some trout. It’s ridiculous to kill these sport fish especially when they grow slowly.
