Let’s head under water and look at how fish react to a worm, a swimbait, and a jig. Tim presents all 3 baits to a variety of bass and watches their reactions. Its amazing how differently each fish reacts . Some lash out immediately, others ignore one bait entirely and then come to life for the next. Take a look and then share your take aways with us at the end.
The biggest “tell” about how a bass will react to a bait is its dorsal fin. If that fin starts standing up or moving rapidly you know you’ve got a fish that’s fired up for a bait. If you make a change and the dorsal settles, its time for another switch. Its always best to have a variety of baits tied on and ready so you can adapt quickly to each fish’s temperament.
Some of our key baits for sight fishing (and fishing in general) are a dropshot worm, jig, small swimbait, and large swimbait. Below is a breakdown of the specific baits Tim is using in the video. Comment below and let us know what you learned from watching how these bass react.

That footage was so clear I heard that bass coughing.😂
Awesome but you are wearing sweater hat and cat with sunglasses inside.
Plus you can,t just get to another cam with a fish
Because he is in his house watching a cam while fishing impossible
he must be watching youtube
Id love to see the percentage of bites between a neko rig and texas rig. I bet you neko wins 3 to 1
goes to show how sad it is fishing for these guys.
Starts around 2:40
great video but i feel like it could use more editing. felt like a lot of wasted time in the video
A good bass video to do would be the different strikes from the same species, according to size…..the most subtle, nearly undetectable bites come from the largest fish….(Largemouth Bass)
Great video!!
I think he just needs an eye exam
I think its the ADHD of the lure movements that throws him off lol
Dude you talk to much 😂
Dude this is genius. "Lets go under water!" Lol
lol the second fish quality look like a green screen haha. took me a while to find it real
Starts at 2:27
I’m cracking up catching myself over analyzing the fish’s’ micro expressions like they’re human 😂
Dead
Why is no one talking about how clear the water is
Informative video 👍
Fish is a paid actor
The drop shot was thrown farther away than the jig. You was throwing right on top of him with the jig
When fish are guarding nests worms are not a threat
Unhhn
It's early spring where I am right now. What this video taught me is about nesting fish and season. Now anything can happen. An aggressive territorial bite with well timed hook set can land a fish. However, it's almost a futile endeavor to fish super early spring. Although any day of fishing is a good day of fishing. Still worth being out there. Good video 👍
Great video, please make more!
They usually don't return back to the nest once they are caught there to freaked out by then
It looks like to me that fish is trained..
Thats fish definitely has covid 19
He's protecting a nest bro so something that is threatening he'll bite always..
With live bait I’d of already had them all in the cooler and omw home
cool shit!
This is very scripted they paid the fish.
👍
Very informative 😊
Amazing Brother 😍
CHECKMATE, haha! love the use of chess terminology in fishing
Nice vidio…👍👍👍
This is so relaxing
You know my problem was that I yanked as soon as I felt a tug now I know to wait a bit and see if the line is running
