I’m so jealous of that clear Minnesota water. Not like here in the Chicagoland area. I live about 60 miles west of Chicago and most anywhere The rivers and ponds you can’t see an inch down. I don’t know why the waters are so dirty and murky.

Large mouth is harder to catch than small mouth. Small mouth will hit anything. Large mouth i use a 7 foot rod with mono and large mouth has paper lips and you dont need to try to pull their lips off like you do pike or musky.
