I have a new lure. The Gold Fish Suspending Bag Lure

Most fishermen have carried a gold fish home from the fair or store. The fish has enough water to swim freely.

1. A clear plastic bag durable enough to keep from tearing when a fish strikes.

The lure bag would have enough volume to hold 1, 2 or up to five minnows or shiners + water, be able to draw close at the top, and have a hook suspended from the bottom of the built in hook eyelet. The bag would also need to have water inlets that the bait fish isn't able to escape through.

The great thing about this lure idea is that the bait never needs attached to the hook that causes the bait to swim off the hook or not preform properly.

With the bait fish swimming around in the bag in a natural manner, fish would be more likely to strike right away instead of hesitating.

The bait bag is then suspended over the water an inch or each suspended in the water. When suspended in the water, just the bottom of the bag should be suspended to ensure the tear drop shape of the bag retains its form.

This type of lure is meant to make the fish strike from the bottom of the lure.

Shad Armor for your bait.

A plastic lure body that allows a single shad to be inserted would also catch more fish. The Shad Armor would have holes in the body to allow fresh water in to keep the shad alive longer. The armor would have hooks and a bill like a normal lure.

Building the bait door would be the most difficult part of the lure. Maybe a a spin loaded double latch bait door.
