BIG BASS ON THE WHOPPER PLOPPER 110! Topwater Bass fishing

GO AND WATCH SOME OF THE NEWER VIDS ON THE CHANNEL!! (FROM 2020-CRAZY YEAR OF BASS FISHING) YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!

Filmed 8-16-17. I’ve been on a mission all summer to break my old PB Largemouth. That was a measly 16″ 2.5lb. Tonight I didn’t just break it, I SMASHED it! As you know from watching my videos, I mostly fish in the river, so I don’t catch a lot of Largemouth. So I’m pretty stoked.

  1. Wow, this was hard to watch. You need to keep your rod tip up while the fish is hooked. You need to set the hook faster and cleaner. Just reel the whopper plopper at a fast speed getting the most sound, with occasional jerks and stops. Hopefully you’ve learned a lot since this was filmed!

  2. So I’m new to fishing and went and bought a rod. A Shakespeare Cirrus. Apparently it’s a “panfish” rod. Is this a bad choice for bass fishing. I wasn’t aware there was a difference. I just bought a 6’6” spinner combo without researching. Will it hold up?

  3. I checked out your channel and subbed. I do hunting/fishing videos mainly with my kids and some friends. Please check my channel out and sub back. Thanks
