There’s something about walking-style topwater lures like a Heddon Zara Spook or 6th Sense Dogma that bass cannot resist. Fish simply have to come up and viciously bite these baits, like they are trying to destroy it! They will have treble hooks on the top of their head, under their mouth, on their side. Largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass all try to kill a topwater walking bait. It’s a fun lure to fish, because of the explosive bites. Hang on to your fishing rod, because giant mega ultra huge fat bass will jerk that pole right out of your hand!
