BASS OF A LIFETIME in a CITY POND?!

In this video, I am doing some urban bass fishing, and I come across one of the BIGGEST LARGEMOUTH BASS I ever have while pond fishing!

The heartbreak of losing one of the biggest bass I have seen in years is nothing more than fuel to get back out there and make it happen again….but to catch it next time!

  1. My pb came From a city pond just like this. Thing was 10 pounds. And that's in the north, New Jersey where a 4 pounder is a big bass. I think the state record is only like 12 pounds. To this day haven't seen anything over 7. She was a sunny eating freak.

I caught her in 2011 or 2012, at 12 midnight on a big ass saltwater jointed swim bait. It's something I don't even know why I was throwing it. I found the lure already attached to a rod at a different bass lake so figured give it some casts. When I caught the the beast, my phone was dead so I knew if I wanted braggin rights I'd have to kill the big girl. Couldn't do it. I had it in the water in my hands for sometime but I chose to let her go rationalizing by being able to maybe catch her again, and fuck em, I have the memory. About 2 years later some old guy caught a fish a couple ounces lighter And I had it mounted. Pretty sure it was the same fish from some type of indentifying markings, Can't remember now, something with her jaw.

  2. I don't know how you catch these fish. In my pond, there are bass jumping up and down but I cant catch any of them. I don't know what to use or how to set the hook or anything. Do you have any tips you can share please
