Bass Fishing Charles Mill Lake – Mud fishing is not easy!
This is a very temperamental lake to fish when the water is up, usually the best fishing is around the marina and around where the deeper holes are, ive been fishing this lake for 20+ years and it is a very good multi species lake
Charles Mills was once a paradise to fish on until the Park started pulling fallen logs out of the water (fish habitat), cutting down trees along the banks to build parking lots. The fishing never has been as good after these, so called, improvements. No wonder the American Indians despised the white man.
It is indeed shallow nothingness, a barren wasteland of disappointment.
