GOD BLESS AND THANK YOU FOR WATCHING!
I wish my dad was a 1/10th the man you are. You have taught me lessons to teach my daughter and my.Gfs kids.
Did you let Kevin catch any fish?! LOL
Good father, and good son!
'he wasn't very big, but he could have been' – my wife said that too
Richard you setting that hook quicker than you telling us to. But hey you actually catch ‘em!
Thankyou for making this video because I got some whopper plopped a few days ago and didn’t know how to use it
I caught a bowfin on the whopper plopper, I guess it was going for the bluegill that were bedding because it was not even 5 foot off the shore line
If you have a good fishing father give this a thumbs up!
Thank you sir I am learning fish hard plastic I am currently using a River2Sea whopper plopper
Listen to what this man says about waiting to set until after the splash. Setting on the splash cost me a huge pike the other day.
Very informative, thanks! I'm mostly a pike fisherman, and dont really like topwaters. I have noticed though, that in realy dirty water pike seem to have an easyer time finding a lure on the surface. Planning to pick up a couple of these just to throw when the water is dirty, and hopefully turn around some slow days. Any color suggestions?
Definition on southern accent right here
I feel you on the short strikes, they do seem to happen a LOT on early year top water. Nothing beats top water action though! I LOVE IT!
Gotta use those pliers though, the hooks will bite!
Makes me wish I had just one more chance to go fishing with my old man. Great video.
"They ain't hittin too much today"
Lands 5 in a few minutes.
Ok Gene
Any specific colors work better than others?
Caught me a 5 – 5.5 lb bass usin one of these things! They work great.
To avoid the deal with the back hook catching fish in the chin, sizing up seems to help. I throw a 130, huge lure, but my hooks are almost always real easy to get out. I'm in Minnesota though so we got lots of Pike and Muskie, and they love these things too. Standard to throw them on a steel leader for me, not trying to lose a 20 dollar lure to a bite off!
Dad gone lmao took offense to that
Second seat in a bass boat is tough fishing. Sorry Kevin.
The bait is twisting is because it's the 90mm and ur line is too heavy for it …you need the 130 like ur son is using and that won't happen
Had a Zara Spook get caught all up in my hand. Deep in the meat. I caught a feisty Stripped Bass (they are incredibly strong and have a mean attitude even in the net.) upon releasing said bass she shook and the hooks engaged my hand ant the weight of the fish drove them deep. Fish was released and won that battle. It was a painful endeavor and bled like crazy. I sat in the ER for almost 4 hours before I could be seen. I’ve used barbless hooks ever since. Those hooks that come with the wopper P are sharp sticky bastards. Loved the video, 2 years late.
I went fishing with my sons too!
Kevin doesn’t know how to fish very good.
Nice vid. Just got one today.
i love my old all stars. Still use them
The issue with videos is editing and anyone can put on the same shirt and fish for 48 yours to make a 20 minute video….this whoopper POOPER is just that……it is a One OFF….. not reliable and no one but NO ONE would use it in a tournament and that is a fact. Your partner bless his heart stuck it out and caught ??????? This video looked like a commercial for a inferior product; the plastic worm will always produce more.
