Came up in my FB feed so I clicked the link and honestly I don't even recall whose stream I watched. Most of it was watching the angler drive his boat around at 70mph. I found it boring and basically the teammates goofing around in their own private world. Couldn't find any other streams and had no idea about the weigh in. I'm sure viewer experience varied. I'm a Poche fan and had no idea he was competing either. Not sure I'll bother watching the next one except out of desperation as I live in NYS so I'm going through withdrawals from the off-season.
I find it hard to believe that sponsors would give that kind of money out without a detailed plan how they were going to get a ROI- Yes, I hear they are new and will get better but that doesn't count at this level- You only get 1 chance to make a first impression- I hope they succeed for the fisherman's sake.

Web site sucks and to this day they only have results up now and not the day one then day two the cut results or payouts. That should be the easiest thing to post

Floor is set, ceiling is high. Team KP killed it. Lots of room for improvement for sure but I think there were a lot doubts if this thing would even happen. They are crawling now to learn to walk. We just need patience and for everyone to support DTF so it will make it. Thanks for the viewpoint and content Steve, keep your head up.
If it wasn't for Kyle Patrick I would not have seen them fish. I disagree not realize that it was only him! I saw camera angles switch and that is pretty cool to know it was all Kyle and his production guy.
I will say, if you are building a league and tournament series, why would you not have all of the logistics in place AND TESTED! This was a HUGE fail. If you want sponsors to spend really good money on your events, you need to do better.

Finally a tournament trail for the anglers not fans. Sorry but as soon as you try to please the fans in fishing you start to lose the money for the anglers. If live streaming takes a penny from the payout don't do it.

Hundred grand first plus pay out the top 25 with no entry fees? That financial model is unsustainable without some SERIOUS sponsor support and probably some kind of streaming deal …
Let's all be patient. Rome wasn't built in a day and there's always something wrong with a new startup tournament series. So let's be positive and look forward to better things for this trail going forward.
I thought it got worse the final day… they didn’t say where the weight could be watched… they still haven’t announced the results on Facebook and their webpage seemed useless… lots of kinks to work out… basically I watch Kyle’s feed and some guys live feed of weight in day two… still haven’t seen results of the full 25… guess I could download fishing chaos.
I'm very curious where the money comes from as I saw no advertising. No banners, signage 🤔

This is going to be an interesting story to follow. The sponsor who put up the money for all of this basically stacked a bunch of money in a pile and set it on fire (at least for this year). Never watched Kyle Patrick before, just rifled through his last day stream, quality is great. It looks like he invested into his streaming setup. The only problem, he wouldn't be the angler I'd want to watch. And only so many anglers will invest in a stream setup like that plus have the people behind it to make it look that good (only one so far in Kyle on this tour). So…. yeah. Robertson's stream looked pretty good, if everyone could at least do that it'd be a one up on all the other tourney trails. Poche's stream should have just had 8 bit music playing as the sound it was so pixilated, but at least he tried.
Honestly all of the issues you speak of are expected with weigh ins, announcers etc. With everything coming together in such a short amount of time a cluster** is going to happen. Just need to learn from the experience and iron it all out over the year. Hopefully things will get better after the next tournament since they are all spread out more evenly month to month. I hope it works out for them.
Did Scott Martin and his daughter even finish in the top 25?if not it proves he is way over rated,especially because thus is their home lake

I did know the event was happening. I did not watch any of the live stream or weigh in. I was either fishing myself or spending time with my family.

I don't expect an organized live stream at this point, but end of each day standings on their website would be nice. I wasn't aware of Fishing Chaos.
My greatest complaint is they should have the Daily Results on their WEB Page. Posting a 66 row spreadsheet into a page is very basic web management. I shouldn't have to jump to FishClash. I found their site lacking, as well. I watched some of Patrick's feed. No weigh-in stuff.
If not for your great trustworthy channel many wouldn't have any info at all myself included Steve. And thank you for all you do to get us the information we seek and lucky for me I know right where to get said information. Would like to see complete results and it's odd that I can't find them anywhere not even on DTF's website. Guess wait until you get them lol. Again thanks for all you do .
I really hope this works. I knew it was upcoming but didn't watch. Maybe on next week. I will try and watch as much as possible to support this trail. Hoping some big sponsors or something step in to keep it going. First because of the no entry fee but also because it is a bit different being a team tournament deal. I wish there was the big money so anglers could fish without putting in crazy money. But there should be a qualifying league and maybe that one should cost but even some of those costs need to come down. But this is mainly for my enjoyment, I won't lose sleep if nothing changes either. But I do try and support those companies who support what I like to watch.

I get the deal in regards to live streaming but good grief you could at least have the leader board listed and updated daily…I mean its not like that is that damn difficult to do….they should at least do that.
