Fishing a bladed jig has always been one of my favorite ways to catch a bass. One of my favorite things that I love about it, is it will catch a lot of fishing and it will catch big ones.
There are a few things that you should know about chatterbaits before your next outing.

A little off topic but, Can you address why fishing rods have a line pound rating? I can see lure weight making a difference for casting, but I don't get the line weight issue. For instance, I mean some rods are rated for 4 to 8 pound test line. What happens if I use 15 pound line on that rod? I just don't get it.
Very informative. I like the comparison and when to use it.
I caught my pb spotted bass on a red chatter bait last march letting it fall! Also one thing that I have come to notice is that nobody talks about the snap on the front even though we are using heavy like heavy rods but they never break but then when it comes to using snaps for cranks and jerkbaits when we are using light rods and light like people talk about them bending out?
Yes absolutely
My chatterbait rod is one of maybe 2 that are on the deck of my boat EVERY trip. Good stuff, Tyler!
These shorter format daily videos are flawless. Any time you start with the Stealth Blade? Thanks for sharing!
I look forward to seeing you in Columbus at the Fishing Expo.
Great info Tyler. Thanks for sharing 👍
Nice video!!
do you have tow different YouTube channels. You put out out pro content. this one says 7000 subscribers. You should be at 100k plus subscribers with your content. You are one of my go to watch everyday dudes
Don't just cast and wind. Penetrate LOL!
PENETRATION IS IMPORTANT
Love the info thanks buddy
Do you fish the EQs?
6:29 penetrate 😂😂
I like these chatterbait videos. I just bought some this winter and can’t wait to use them for the first time. Your videos should help me catch some.
Chatterbaits are a crazy versatile bait . So many different ways to fish them and effective in most applications. The only thing I disagree with is when you said you don’t lose many . As a bank angler I’d say a Chatterbait is the bait I lose most !
Great video! Keep them coming Tyler.
Great video as always!😁
I'll be down to meet you again, no doubt, brother!! Bring a marker!!!!! Love these lil short vids with awesome tips
Great tips, thank you very much ! I noticed the same thing: most bites happen when the chatterbait is falling or just bouncing on the bottom. They are also great to catch blue catfish !
Muted
I really like this new format your doing, I also really hope that it helps you out with YouTube money, a smaller video every day that may (or may not) get as many views as your bigger bassfishing hq videos but brings more money overall.. it's pretty smartz if this is the tactic, it's a win win, we get content every day and it helps you out. I don't know how YouTube works exactly but the company I work for has this business model. Going for the quick dime instead of the long dollar
I think ive watched every video you’ve made on a chatterbait and i helped me to land a 6.2 lb bass thanks
Hmm maybe "puncture' would be more appropriate? 😁
Great info as always! 👍
Great tips. I've had a hard time keeping the micro chatterbait from staying below the surface. I appreciate what you do and sharing the differences.
Question: why does it seem like I have to set other baits much harder with a similar hook size? Thanks 👌
Love your videos. I have learned a lot over the last couple years
Muffled perhaps, as opposed to saying diluted
Penetrate!
