Do you have a favorite secret tick that works well for you in the summer?
We used to use a small ballhead jig with a grub and that worked all summer.
I'm using that worm trick for sure! That looks like it would work great 👍
A floating worm is great on a shakey head. I'm using them off docks around my lake and casting out to where the bottom changes from rock this sand. I know I can always catch a few fish that way no matter how tough things get.

A tube with a small weight and piece of stick bait stuck inside and rig the tube backwards with an EWG with the the tentacles as the head… works really well in current
Those are great tips. It makes sense that fish change how they feed in the summer. I've been having my most success on a trick worm and now I can see why.
I never used a shakey head much but I those worms you make look really good!
