  1. Howdy bro I’ve done both but I think parallel to the bait makes it a little more weedless and gives you a better hook up in the upper pallet. Clear o rings or black ones from HD or L more sizes to pick from also. Peace and God Bless

  2. It's been fun keeping up with you during the different stages. You have been helping my fantasy teams. I like to rig mine perpendicular to the worm without an o ring. I feel I get better hooksets than using the o ring and having the hook parallel to the worm. I appreciate what you do.

  3. I like to rig mine with the hook perpendicular to the senko with the hook point coming out the top. I look at the senko, there is a very slight curvature in the senko, hook the bait with the legs facing down. I use either an Owner 5172P-126 in camo green or a Sasori with a weed guard. With the Baby bass color tied on take a black sharpie and mark the first 1/4 inch of the tail. There are so many ways to trick out a senko 🔥 Tight lines!

  4. I only rig my wacky hook inline when I want to Neko Rig with a nail weight in the head. I feel the hook up ratio is much better with a traditional from the side wacky hook presentation.

  5. Definitely rig mine the second way. Douglas is an extremely pressured lake from now until October basically, and I seem to get a few extra bites rigging it thru the worm with no o-ring

  6. My favorite bait and rig of all time. The wacky rig just plain gets um. I have been using the VMC crossover rings so that I can run my hook across the bait instead of with the bait. I have always felt my hookup ratio was better that way, but I ran the hook with the bait when I used O rings before the crossovers came out. I actually prefer to hook right to the bait, but I go through to many worms that way.
The fluke is always tied on and I almost always have a double fluke setup and ready for when I find a bait ball that they are picking off. Can't tell you how many double hookups I have had with that rig. Great video Matt, thanks for sharing.
