Ice Fishing Catch & Cook – Bass and Bluegills on Teardrops and Waxworms

I had a great time ice fishing this small pond. The ice conditions were great. About 8” of ice and the fish were eager to bite. This was my best outing ever ice fishing.
Don’t look to me for too much advice or guidance when it comes to ice fishing. I have a low ice fishing IQ. I will say that persistence will pay off eventually on the hard water.
Additionally, I caught and kept some of the fish and cooked them up for dinner along with some venison streaks. Overall, I had a great day. Couldn’t have spent it doing anything better.
