Fishing can be really though when it gets super hot out there. Our water temps are well into the 90s and it feels like bathwater. Those bass are certainly keying off on bait fish and you have to work hard for every bite you get. But if you can still find patterns in the summer, then you can find patterns any other time of year.
Lezards, mice, snakes, baby birds, heck in Arkansas even the mosquitoes would feed fish LOL
