The slow reel technique definitely works. I'm not a bash fisherman, but I do fish for walleye/saugeye and the slight wobble drives them nuts.

when it comes to jerkbait fishing i stick to mega bass with a few other brands here and there but i was curious if you swap your hardware. when it comes to the vision 110, the ito shiner, the 110 junior, and the LBO the katsuage outbarbs are quite light wire. i started switching the front and back hook to owner stingers and leaving the middle. wanted to know if you swap hardware as well and if so, what trebles are you using.

Pay some extra money for a good jerk bait that runs a little deeper. A little longer jerks in a 2-1 pattern… Two quick jerks one longer jerk. Repeat, catch, be happy
8-12 pound test on a large jerkbait….. people tend to run too heavy line

As you worked the bait I noticed you did a quarter turn slow with every jerk.

Rod size depends on your heigth and what your standing on as well as how far water level is from what your standing on.

Already tried and caught fish just reeling a jerkbait b4 I even seen this vid, it does work and depending on ur hooks u don't have to set the hook, just lean back to keep pressure on the fish and reel it in.
If you fish shallow water, use a floating jerkbaits. Use suspending around 7-8ft range. Deep divers in deeper than 10ft…
