We spent half a day fishing nearby Blackduck Lake. We had never been there before but had heard about it from other fishermen. We landed over 50 smallmouth in about 4 hours!

Blackduck Lake Smallmouth Bass Fishing Northern Minnesota
I have my cabin back on long lake, a bit past blackduck and spend a pile of time on surrounding lakes. Blackduck is truly hard to beat for numbers of bass. Most are cookie cutter 13c fish but theres some 20"+ fish there as well when you fish a little deeper(8-14') and usually off the islands. Elephant lake can be absolute killer as well.
