Dustin Connell was red-hot on the morning run and finished at the top with five bass weighing 22 pounds, 13 ounces and John Hunter’s a mere 4 ounces behind going into Qualifying Day 2. Meanwhile, the top eight anglers posted more than 20 pounds on the day and the Top 20 cuts off just a couple pounds below there; so it’s going to be a tense race for a Knockout Round qualification when Group B resumes on Tuesday.
