Hey y’all today we are headed out on Claytor Lake for some early Spring BASS. The water temp is around 50 degrees which means it’s time to throw a crank bait! The water is a bit murky which is a great thing for this technique. I hope y’all enjoy the video.

My wife booked a vrbo here without discussing it and I was nervous as hell but this video makes me feel alot better. And does your bow graph fold down??
Claytor has big ole smallies, trust me! Dad caught an 8lb smallie last year!
I'm not totally anti-tournaments but I do wish they would limit them during the spawn. We've seen a drastic improvement at Claytor (imo) because tournaments were shut down 3 years ago for the initial stage of the pandemic … time will tell if that theory is correct but it seems so as of now….
maybe Claytor isn't as bad of a fisherie as you said…lol
I seen you using the Spro what was the other lure thanks
Claytor has been improving the past few years
Awesome catches! You just said it wasn鈥檛 the best fishery and what you caught says different. Great video !
Those are a couple of great bass you c
馃憤 Thanks for the video, it gives us the taste of spring. Here, we still have six inches of ice on our lakes, but it will come! 馃憤馃憤
