Headed up to Lake Don Pedro for some bass fishing and to try out my new sun hat. I ended up catching 9, including an 18″ Largemouth. The hat worked really well, but unfortunately, my cameras did not. I have 2 GoPro Hero 4 Black cameras (rear-mounted) and one GoPro Hero 7 Silver (hat-mounted). I use the 7 for narration (the mic works much better than the 4s). For some reason, my 4s shut down before the memory chips filled up and before the batteries died. It could have been the heat, but it only reached 93. Oh well, we shall see what happens next time. Here is video of 4. 8 were in the 16-18 inch range, and 1 was small. The squarebill seems to be the bass’ favorite lure. It is 2.5″ in a bluegill pattern from LiveTarget.
