Great video, Mr. Steve, very well said. Growing up in eastern North Carolina my dad and I spent a lot of time fission, in the spring and fall every weekend we were saltwater fishing, either from the surf or boat during the day and flounder gigging at night, and during the week we were freshwater fishing. He is the reason I love the outdoors And fishing SO MUCH especially bass fishing. To this day my PB is 8:10 that I called when I was 13 while fishing with dad. That day meant so much to me I don’t care if I have a break that PB. So what you said in your videos so very true I lost my dad at 15 my best fishing partner ever but I never cast a line that I do not think about him and thank him for introducing me to this great sport and I feel he’s right by my side. 100% Steve! I prefer Shimano reels too and have a couple Tacklewebs on my boat that are used every trip. Can't go wrong with a gift card either, but my dad won't go anymore. I ask, but he's not interested sadly. Too bad since he and my Opa are the ones that instilled that love in me. Maybe someday my son will take me instead of the other way around.
