  1. I've found that lakes in ohio are very pressured, but most people are always trying to finesse fish. I go the other way. 5" craws, Magnum Trick worms, spinner baits with a #7 willow. 6"+ swimbaits, big 3/4 traps, 2.5 size squarebills etc.

  2. The fact the water was muddy and if he was drop shotting the smaller bait made the right kind of twitchy noise in the water that the fish are used to feeding on. Bait fish make a quick tick tick sound when they are swimming while the beaver would be making a dragging sound on the bottom.

  3. TY if you keep getting your Clock Cleaned, your azz Kicked and who is constantly swollowing your words to a co-anglers, should folks listen to what you have to say Bruh??
There's nothing wrong with being a loser, it just depends on how good you are at it, Remember: Second place is just the first place loser, Losers let it happen; winners make it happen!, The path of least resistance is the path of the loser. PS: Your welcome Tyler the bridesmaid Berger 😎

  4. Just a couple days ago I finally broke my rule and fished with something that’s not an inline spinner, I grabbed my 1 inch grub threw it on my trout hook with a snap shot and bagged me a nice 16 inch rainbow trout. Where I’m at I can only creek fish right now even though that’s what I love to do. But, fish are oddly active this year in my area. Normally I gotta sight fish but right now I just go out and cast and boom they’re tearing it up all over the place. Almost like they know NY winter is not going to be serious so they’re out hunting for food early

  5. You would think that in dirty water that the white or chartreuse colors would be most visible to the bass but at the same time it may have been too loud for them and so they went more for the subtle natural color. You just gotta try different stuff I guess.

  6. I've learned to never underestimate anyone on the water. Sometimes people that don't have experience and have lot of knowledge fish baits that don't make sense for the conditions but catch a lot of fish sometimes. I have a small lake near my house that is really hard to catch fish in the winter. One time I saw a young kid there and he had a inexpensive Walmart spinning combo and couldn't cast very far. He was using a small underspin and I saw him catch many bass that day. He told me the bass were close to the shore and I was casting to far out. There is only shore fishing allowed there. I learned a valuable lesson that day.

  7. God created the bass 6000 years ago. They are actually how he made them. There’s no code. They live in the water and we don’t. God knew the waters would get muddy from rain. So they have to eat in muddy water. So yeah don’t underestimate something that has to live in bad conditions time to time. I was catching bass on a drop shot in a pond that’s tannic water and the bait I was using was a small green pumpkin zman shadz drop shot bait if I’m not mistaken. Gods creatures are amazing and we will never master them! They will always school us!

  8. I took my son to a lake. We got to our fishing spot and the visibility was no more than 6". I tell him to put on a dark bait. He picks up a Watermelon 5" Straight tail worm. I told him, it's not the prefer bait (thinking to myself, I'll let him learn). First cast, and he catches a 4lbs. 3rd cast, and he catches a 3lbs. Well, I learned something new that day. lol.

  9. When dealing with muddy water in Lake Erie, I use nothing but chartreuse colored baits. It also helps to use soft plastics with ridges, which create air pockets and also give off vibration. I buy the most neutral colors, preferably white, so I can dip them in chartreuse dye. Don't ask me why that color works well in muddy water.

  10. I don’t know what it is but when I can’t catch anything I pick up a watermelon seed senko and can get a bite don’t know what it is but it has always worked for me.

  11. Bass are so much more aware of their surroundings than you can imagine even in muddy water. Seen it on livescope. Bass react to my worm falling on a 15 foot brush pile when its only 8 foot down and im talkin 6 inch visibility.
