I like my spool tension pretty loose probably just tight enough so the knob doesnβt come off and my centrifugal brakes either 2 on or all off and my outside brakes around bit lower than half
I owned an old Penn salt water reel I purchased in 1966 . Fast forward with a lot of spinning reels I bought since then !
I purchased a Piscifun alijoz 300 with all the bells and whistles and I am still having issues with bird nesting !
Hopefully your video can help ! π€
Great tips. I watched many of your videos. It seems to me that you like floro than braid. Is there a reason for that? Or just preference.
Most people I know only bring a baitcaster with them for the cred. But they use spinning reels to catch fish. Because you don't have to make constant adjustments every time you change lures.
Did you know that there is an Bearing Oil that COMPLETLY erases al Overspooling and Birds Nests and Cast Further than Ever, the Reel works like an Svivlo, DC or I Reel, it cost 30 usd with world Wide shipping, you can set your Casting Brake on 0 or COMPLETLY REMOVE IT, no Thumbing with Reels 100 Size and up ONLY need to Thumb it with BFS Reels, its absolutely Magical, and there is ONLY One place to get it from! Se my page. π€ Grey1
That last bass was a great looking fish
Thanks for a great video! It really helped me a lot. The last time I used a baitcaster was over 60 years ago (I have been spinning and fly fishing). I recently picked up a baitcaster and am working hard for the title of Backlash King as I try to cast a 1/3 oz sinker in my backyard. Your tips have helped a lot, especially about palming the reel and using my thumb properly. It's the little things that make the difference. Now, it's a matter of practice before actually hitting the water in my kayak.
My god does this kid ever talk to fastπ
Your channel is great
New baitcaster owner here. Lews American Hero. I went through trial and error before stumbling upon this. Wish I found ya sooner! Good video as usual, Tyler
I'm back into fishing due to recovery from spinal fusion surgery. My first passion was golf, but that's another journey. Started watching your very informative and cutting edge of technology as well as technical fishing. I see great things for success. Thanks, bro. Great job sir..
Great video!
thanks for the tips
How to hold the reel and manage the line with your fingers while reeling is a subject not often covered. Thanks.
It's about time someone showed us novice baitcaster anglers how to properly palm the reel
Kept trying to find videos online and no one talks about this
Great info
Love you do bank angler videos since I have no boat. So many videos from boat. Very few for bank anglers
Love your work
i got my first ever baitcaster 1 year ago and the first thing i did was go to bass pro and get it set up
Definitely unhealthy bass π
second nature is the way to go
i bought my first baitcaster yeasterday, trying to adjust things, few bad cast and than i got the thumb trick, no matter what lure i put on, i casted them far and quik. many small quick cast. this thing is awsome, so fun and i feel more connected with my rod. more control. i thought it will be more trouble to use this but it was less trouble π i should have done this before
Helped so much
Just realized I didnβt know how to use a bait caster.
Why wont my topwater frog drop when i click the button to cast and when i cast it only comes out like 10 feet. I have an ez cast baitcaster. The red and white one
Thank You for the Great Tips!!!
Thank you Tyler! This is exactly what I needed just picking up my first high end baitcaster! Love your stuff π
12:32 why are bro shoes like that
Tyler is really good at making videos seems very professional with nice set up also phenomenal tips.
Im new to baitcasters should i get a right hand or left hand one im naturally a right handed person but my spinning reels are left
1 minute fish landing violation" not sure what it means but that's what it looks like xD
i swear my first cast with this rod that shit birdnest… then i watched a video and got it kinda set and did a few and birdnest it again… i cannot set my rod to cast more than 15 feet without ending up with a birdnest :'D
