My favorite tips is the long pause 45 seconds, meanwhile i can enjoy the Bridgford beef jerky
Can’t imagine pausing 45 seconds unless I physically put the rod down, but I’ll give it a try.
It'd be great if you guys can offer a cool Bridgford hat giveaway. Who doesn't love this great jerky, esp when they also support our great sport! Keep up the great video content!!!
Tune bait and make sure weight is right (perfect suspend).
sure does work!
crazy
Love the song idea! Anyone listen to music while fishing?
How do you fine tune the jerkbait? Do you use a 5 gal bucket to test the fall rate after making adjustments?
I will be giving the long pause a try my next time out.
Jerkbaits are quickly becoming my favorite way to fish.
Motivation to fish a jerkbait more often
I like the Up Jerk tip. I'm will have to try tht technique for sure.
Matt you’re the man dude about time that’s how you show people teach people how to throw a jerk bait how to use a jerk bait in the name brand of a jerk bait right on man I’m gonna give a thumbs up to this video because of
That’s what the hell I’m talking about right there they’ll do their advertisements so they can get paid they make money they ain’t doing this shit for free to teach you how to fish but they won’t tell you what the hell the jerk bait is there throwing
OK I’m not gonna push the thumbs up until you watch the whole video it’s all sounds good but I wish these guys would do when they talk about like jerk baits and what not why don’t you mention what the hell the jerk bait as you have in your hand what you’re throwing is it slow thinker is it a 3 to 5 or or what is it for the people who are just starting out and don’t have the money to buy a bunch of fucking lures she’s my language but freedom a speech give me a heads up
Awesome vid thanks for giving up some juice.
Your intelligence and information are the very top of the food chain!🎣
the long pause and an occasional up jerk…and matching cadence to songs…all great stuff to try
It would be a good idea with the right crankbaits also. I have used crankbaits as a top water and caught big bass on them also. No pppp
Ive never tried a long pause. Need to try it.
Great tips as always. I m going to try the longer pause and incorporate the occasional upward jerk. Never thought about that.
The long cadence is something I'm going to implement. Have to learn some major patience.
Still trying to find the right retrieve. Thanks for sharing it helps
'Up-Jerk' along with AC/DC or Pink Floyd is what I've been missing!!! Another great video, guys! Try to watch 'em all. Keep them coming!
Matt Stefan’s up-jerking every so often is a great piece of advice I’ll be implementing
Gteat video on jerkbaits
Using songs to keep track of cadence is a great tip. I'm definitely going to try it next time I'm out.
My favorite tip is using a mat color in lower light conditions. Caught an 8lb 2 weeks ago from that tip from Randy!!
Throwing in a up jerk in between "standard" retrieve.
Definitely going to try adding that up jerk to my cadence! Thanks for the tip
Bridgeford beef jerky is the best for timing your pauses. Just jerk your bait down to depth, then chunk a piece in your mouth and don’t move the bait until the piece is gone!
I've always struggled with jerkbaits. In over 30 years of serious fishing its one of two techniques that I've always struggled with, although they are both very popular with pros and weekend guys alike. I keep working on it though and take in all the info I can
My Magabass 110 is rising. How can I get it to slowly sink?
So I’m new to winter fishing because I just got my boat in June. So I’m trying to learn as much as I can about winter patterns. You guys are killing it on YouTube channels and I’ve been listening to the old live streams on Spotify recently. Thanks for all the info you provide!
