What Should We EXPECT at Bassmaster Elites on Guntersville

The Bassmaster Elite Series is BACK!! And the 2026 season starts at one of the best fisheries in the country and at Lake Guntersville. How will this first event fish with anglers NOT allowed to use FFS? Can this younger group of anglers continue their dominance in the Elites? Will weather come into play? Will local knowledge help anglers or can someone come out of the pack and win the first event of the season?

  1. I hope it's going to be an old school beat down without the technology. Im looking forward to the start of the elite season, and I agree that Guntersville is a great place to kick it off.

  2. Going to be a fun event with Chatterbaits and Traps doing the work. This weather is making me feel like home in Michigan. Remember those days. Keep the videos coming.

  3. Honestly… probably more of the same. Can’t get excited for Bassmasters. Regardless of ffs or not… just isn’t exciting anymore. The MLF production, along with the hammers coming on with TWPC… and rookies in the bpt, with all the current anglers on the BPT list, just provides a better overall product.
Bassmasters, is struggling… financially and overall viewership. They may find some big fish… but a little too late to be any big news.
