Want to catch bass and bluegill from shore without live bait? In this video I catch both bass and bluegill from the bank on lures. I catch the first fish, a largemouth bass, on a Baby Brush Hog. After going to a different fishing spot, I catch a bunch of bluegill on a 1 inch Gulp Alive Minnow. I even get a visit from the TWRA asking about my catches. Before I leave I also catch a jumbo bluegill that is easily a keeper size. If you want to catch bass and bluegill from the shore, maybe try these techniques to get a few. #realistic #fishing

At least you're getting out catching something even if they're mostly small.
End the day with a bang!
Pan fishing is always fun
Going to have to try those Gulp minnows.
Really nice fish to end on! I like how the TWRA guy both thanked you for your time and wished you success.
That really was a decent looking piece of drift wood. I bet one of your subscribers carve. It to look like a bass… 😂
Nice catch of driftwood. Seriously, nice assortment of fish. Great job. Love the gulp minnows. Keeping it Realistic
I always appreciate your enthusiasm.
Ice catches amazing blue Gill at the end, wouldn't mind having a mess of those.
Love the video! Catching those Bluegills are so much fun!!
Hi hi everyone
You are supposed to fish the log, not catch the log
Nice fish dude, good for a slow late summer morning, hope you get more good ones. 👍
Awesome variety today!! Even the tiny greenie lol. That last gill was a regular Frankenstein!! Awesome video brother
Once again, another good episode keeping it Realistic in Oklahoma
I like the small baits on a tiny jig. Although I mainly catch small fish, I did catch a 17.5", 2.64 lb bass on a 1/64 oz jig with a small curly tail. I hope people are paying attention to your rig. It is very useful information and, of course, REALISTIC. 🎣🐟🐟🐟
Keep killing it Alex, always catching something with your badass fishing techniques and that’s what counts, that’s a beautiful Bluegill btw 😎
What a discus of gill!!
That tiny green sunfish would be an amazing aquarium fish. Cool fish. I love when you end by fishing at “the log”. Good stuff!
That's some tough fishing. Your encounter with the twra is significantly better than my last one with the tpw in Texas.
Awesome 6lb Water log catch. ❤ keep it realistic.
Ending on a good note! Nice blue gill!
The log comes through again. Amazing colors on those fish, Alex.
A slow day of fishing is still a day of fishing. I'll take that any day! Thanks for another great episode Alex!!
That quarter pounder with cheese would barely be enough for a filet-o-fish. Luckily, that last bluegill was a big mac!
Catching this fish was fantastic, your fishing equipment is amazing, congratulations you are an excellent fisherman.👍🎣😊
I LOVED THE VIDEO!!!
That was a tank of a Bluegill! Thanks for keepin it realistic Alex!
👍😎 Nice Bullgill!
Fish are small, momma said there would be days like that.
Game warden called that one, if you were keeping them, that last one would have been a keeper. That piece of drift wood you caught reminded me of a 30 gallon garbage can I caught once. Light tackle and 6 lb line. I don’t know how I kept from breaking off but, I got the can all the way to the bank. Biggest thing I caught that whole year. Great video Alex.
That just goes to show you that. The little bass count and the blue Gill are the homies.
I catch lots of logs too lol. Welcome fall !
I just found out by YouTube after 50 years of fishing I been using stringers wrong. 😂🤦♂️ Hook them through the lower lip not behind gills through mouth. I’m retired I’ve spent a small fortune on Gulp minnows this year probably 5-7 jars. I rolled into Walmart and spotted some Crème 1.5 inch tube plastics in Chartreuse and other colors. I never used a tube style bait before. I caught 8 black crappie this morning. Never lost the bait and the bait was not damaged. 98cents for 10. Five bags for 5 bucks . Locally gulp minnow are 7$ for 10 gulp baits. You know they always say fish natural bait colors to the waters you fish. I’ve never seen a blue, party pink, chartreuse, orange, glow in the dark natural bait yet I catch most mine on pink, chartreuse is fairly clear water. I don’t suppose I’ll ever figure fishing out lol. Glad your saying baby brush hog 3 times instead of Candy Man . 👍🏻 l look forward to all your videos . I’m still learning.
Man, I wish fishing was good here. We can't find anything here.
That was a nice log Al 😂 a lil tree pounder 😅
