Just the tip!
Warbaits 1/2oz with the weedguard rigged up with a gambler swimbait is key during this time of the year I love burning it back fast and getting reaction strikes
Thanks for the tips! Got me some underspins rigged up tonight for the morning, put the stingers on them and hoping to put the smack down on some stripers and sandies . I’m feeling like game on, ha!
Hello Tim I like the hook deal I think I am going to try to rig that on a spinner bait thanks again I enjoy your videos
The new Deps Frilled shad works great as an under-spin trailer- has a very tight, subtle action to it- really good for cold water. If that's still too much action for them you can always go to a fluke style bait- sometimes the paddle tail and the blade is just too much. I also like to throw other baits on the flashy swimmers- doesn't have to be a swim bait you know. I've thrown curly tail worms on them, little craws, little creature baits, the rage products seem to work pretty well in the summer time when they're really active. If you think about it, that's not really that odd- ppl do what's called "rage rigging" which is just putting a rage craw or something like that on a keel weighted swimbait hook and swimming horizontally through the water- well this just adds some flash to your rage rig. I've even thrown senkos on them- and it works.
That looked like it hurt giving up that stinger hook tip
Wicked them on a spinner bait yesterday I’ll try an under spin today let’s see the best way to rig it
If underspins are effective, why not a spinnerbait?
If you use a underspin with a curly tail grub and just slowly bring it of the bottom you get tons of bites
I learn so much from you guys! I don't have this hobby figured out just yet and often come out without a bite. But, I LOVE it so much and come home to study YouTube videos from all the GREATS to learn what I can do better next time!
Thank you for your videos, I tried the underspin fluke today and caught my pb largemouth bass. 7.75 lbs.
the underspins also help in muddy water too
Good stinger hook tip
Love the underspin. Nice tip about the weedless presentation. Never thought about using those around grass and reed lines. Will definitely going to BPS to get those Owner set ups and try my hand on that at get hook tip. Thank you for sharing it!
Tim, on a bait caster…what pound line for the 3.8 Keitech? Also should this be mono or flouro?
That screw lock makes no difference it will catch you a few fish then rip off the plastic is to soft.
What to do if the water is FULL of Hydrilla
What size flashy swimmer do you go with the Keitech 3.3, 3.8 and 4.8 ?
my idea of underspins just got refreshed, thanks TB!
Do you think you can use a underspin to catch salmon like coho, or steelhead?
Number one tip is awesome. I never considered it. QUESTION, why not use it all the time except heavy cover. As usual love your channel!
Genius tip Tim. Love that little easy shiner set up.
I would’ve never thought of that stringer hook until you shared it on this video, Thank you!

Check out the 6th Sense Divine Underspin. That is my go to underspin and it also has the screw lock built on to the hook shank. Great vid!!
Love those rigs!
What would I use on a man that won’t commit friend
Great info. Coolbait is my #1.shawn is the man
Thank you for showing all your tips! It helps so much out on the water! I am curious though, I am an avid fisherman from Idaho with a mildly tight budget for gear. I am going to be in the market for a new rod/reel combo for christmas. I have watched your entire buyers guide series however, there are just so many options to choose from and it is overwhelming. I am wanting a new all around fishing rod/reel. Do you have any combos that come to mind for a general all around combo? Any where from $300-$400 for the combo. I would love to hear from yall. Thanks!! =)
Ay people if you are looking for another great swimbait head, the divine swimbait head works great to because it has the screw lock keeper
I remember using these years ago that we made before they were popular. I was kinda bummed when they became mainstream. I won a few tourneys with these before ppl knew about them…lol
I caught my new “pond” PB last night using an underspin for the first time!! I’m now convinced that Tim is the best bass YouTuber as I’ve used lots of his tips with great success. Thanks Tim!!!
Hey Tim question for you on one of your tips…I throw swimbaits a ton (primarily keitechs with the megabass okashira screw heads) and I've seen your tip regarding the super glue to keep your swimbait up but I'm wondering how hard is it to get that plastic off your swimbait once you super glue it on? I'll switch between a black/silver color to a rainbow trout pattern to blue/green's for bluegill colors all on the same lake on the same day. If I super glue that plastic on is it a pain to change the plastic? Even on heads like the okashira screwhead the bait slides off all the time, the keepers on those are horrible. I guess I can just go try it but figured I'd ask anyway. Tight lines man.
Paddletail plastics have always been my go-to but never tried using the underspin. Will have to give this a try!
Hmm maybe I’ll try hanging a little inline spinner under an under spin..
might work
Excellent tips, thanks.
I could see sharing your secret Stinger Hook trick was painful. Don't worry your secret is safe with us.
Great video. I love that singer hook tip. I'll be using it for sure.
You guys have been killing lately with your vids! Keep it up
I tried one out last week and dint get anything, it’s been rough and cold here in Canada the past couple weeks with this fall season. Cold weather and tons of wind.
Okashira screw head with 3" Spark Shad will get the smallies going.
Sneaky Sneak Stinger Hook! hahaha Awesome!!
Can’t wait to try the stinger hook.
Thank you Tim. Wow. Giving up some of your secrets… We appreciate that for sure…..
Tim, Buddy I can't believe you have away your secret…lol. I can't wait to try throwing a little 2-0 on my willow leaf
Had a 3.8 Keitech with a flashy swimmer tied on this weekend didn't win the tournament but got big fish and cashed a check infact I always have a Keitech with an underspin tied on when it gets bit it's usually a quality fish
Awesome tip with the stinger. I don't suppose it would work to well with inline spinner would it?
Easy shiners and swing impacts have been really good for me so far this fall on the small local lakes and streams but I really need to start throwing some underspins with these.
When throwing light baits on a bait caster, what is your preferred set up rod and reel wise?
