Ultralight Fishing With Gulp Minnows and Swim Baits (Spring Fishing)

Today I am doing some ultralight fishing with Gulp Minnows and Swimbaits. Spring fishing can be all over the place depending on the weather. Recent storms have been effecting the fishing in a negative way lately. Cold rain and wind have cooled off the lake, and cooled off the bite. But today I find a spot on the bank and make a few casts. I end up catching a handful of decent bluegill and some nice yellow bass. After switching to the swimbait I catch a beautiful 10 inch yellow bass. I hope the weather can even out and the ultralight fishing can continue improving. #fishing

  1. Thanks for always showing what bait, lures, rod, etc, that you use on each video.
Sub here from way back in your early days.
Keep up the good work 👍

  2. I have that reel it's pretty nice for the price. Here in Kansas the weather has been windy and stormy. It has definitely effected the fishing. The yellow bass look similar to white bass. I don't have yellow bass in my area. Great video!

  3. Great catches Alex! Wish we had some yellow bass around here. Always appreciate your tips and tricks and realistic situations while fishing! Thank you truly Alex for always keeping it realistic 😊
