don’t use such a telephone pole and heavy heavy line! you only need a rod rated to like 2 ounces and 17 pound test for that size swimbait
Also for that size swimbait you don't need 30 pound test! Use more like 17 to 20
When you fish that bait,Don't straight retrieve it,try using pops of the reel and itll glide better.
