Blaukat old school jig…https://bait-wrx.com/products/randy-blaukats-old-school-jig
Bass bite some ridiculous looking baits and buzz baits are on top of the list. That's one bait I'm not interested in trying in the saltwater. But yesterday I caught a redfish with one of the chatterbaits that comes with a jig head and no skirt or trailer. I put a 5" soft plastic white swim bait on it with ProCure. That's a crossover I like.
Just use swimbait plastic packaging to make hook keepers. You already have those in the boat.
I do not use these often. Would a plastic on each side of the trailer hook leaving room to move be beneficial?
I been doing this for years myself. What I like to use is a 3 hole Paper Punch, this Works Great
Try using a paper hole punch to make the perfect size keeper
Why not use Clear Tubing, that is used in Fish Aquariums for the Oxygen.
That works Fantastic. I've been using it for over 30 years now.
Cool Beans Ty Randy <
I don't really feel like getting the vacuum cleaner out after I put a trailer hook on so I'll just stick to not using one
I use soda straws, color-matched or clear, cut into half-inch sections to slide over wacky rigged worms and put the hook thru the straw and worm to make the baits last a long time.
Good job
Two bobber stops or pieces of rubber.
I've just used a hole punch to make my plastic stops
A hole punch and coffee lid works better been doing this since 1980 but I don’t use trailer hooks anymore
Do you ever add a trailer to the stinger ( trailer) hook or do you lose the ability to add a trailer bait such as a grub or something similar if you decide to run a trailer hook?
That does make sense , I agree real good idea , loved it , but I also agree with not using them cause it will make u get less bites , to be honest I don’t use em
You can do the same thing with the piece of rubber
