This Might Be The BIGGEST BASS of My Life! On The ULTRALIGHT!

This might be the biggest bass of my life and I caught it on an ultralight! Today I am fishing a Texas rig plastic worm from the bank. As I practice fishing with my right hand, I thought I would try for largemouth bass. This fish was so big, when I set the hook, I thought it was a snag! Then the bass jumped out of the water! This bass was between four and five pounds, maybe more! Since I am not one to brag about the size of fish, I do not know exactly what it weighed. If you are out there fishing for bass with an ultralight, you just might catch the biggest bass of your life too. #bassfishing #fishing

  1. What a great catch. Besides watching the Bass jump out of the water 2 or 3 times, the best part was hearing and seeing your excitement catching em. That's REAL… That's why people follow this channel. Great Great video. And you did it using the opposite hand on an ultra light rod with 6lb tess. Amazing!!!! KiR!!!

  2. Alex, that's a big Bass, that's a big Bass Alex, in case I didn't mention this, that's a big Bass, Hahaha. That beauty is at least 5lbs for sure, way to go!

  3. Such a wonderful video Alex!! Catching that tank on a ultralight action rod with 6lb test. That has to be an awesome catch. Great catch using your right hand. Thank you for always KIR😊

  4. Way to go Alex! Congratulations on your new PB. I have watched you set up for Texas Rig and I’ve tried it, but when I cast the weight seems to drop about half way to where the worm goes in (so get two splashes for entry, vs one). I don’t notice that when you cast, so somehow I don’t think I’m doing it right. Any ideas what I’m doing wrong??

  5. That was cool. I’ve caught many a monster fish on an underpowered rod and reel. I caught a 3.5 lb large mouth several years ago using a Shakespeare 5 foot Durango rod. Growing up we just had rod and reels lol. We never had a clue about rod weight or action lol. I probably had 12lb test or more on ultra light set ups because I didn’t know what they were.😂

  6. That was an awesome catch! Wanted to thank you since I've been watching your channel, I have grown in encouraging other anglers when they land a fish, and also to teach others the limited knowledge I have.

Fishing has become more fun! Keep those videos coming!
