As anglers, when we see bass busting the surface of the water, we almost instinctively reach for shad-imitating baits and topwater. And sometimes the payoff can be very rewarding with a nice bass! But often times we completely strike out. That’s generally because there’s much more going on that we don’t know about. When bass fishing, we need to consider all the reasons that those bass might be busting up. Bass fishing is about reading all that signals around use to choose the right bait and presentation. #fishing #bassfishing #fishingtips

What are some of your favorite ways to catch those summer bass?
You can never go wrong fishing a jig!
Your jig tips have really helped. I've been getting way more bites!
Swim and bladed jigs
Over 100 and my guy is wearing a hoodie!!! I'm sweating just looking at you!
I have a couple of those same swimbaits and they do look super lifelike in the water. I've never caught anything with them, but I think I need to try again using your tips.
👍
I've been working a trick worm on a 1/8 ounce shakey head and that's been about the only thing I can get a bite on right now. But I am using green pumpkin so that makes sense.
I'm glad you went into more details with this. That really helps!
