  1. Great time to get out for early fall bass fishing. They're definitely fond of topwater lures and I do love a crawler bait. Just finished a 4 day in western Michigan. Not many pike but the largemouth and smallies made up for it in quality with decent numbers. My best was 18.5 smallmouth on a Choppo 90, my brother had a solid 18 inch largemouth bass and 17.75 smallie. Glad you guys got on a bite. Blessings Matt

  2. I used to be so intrigued by my dad’s bee-colored Crazy Crawler. It was an old wooden plug that was so old that it was cracked. I’ve bought and lost several since then. I catch a lot of bass on it but also used to catch huge pike on them on the Yukon back in Alaska. Great lure!

  3. Last year an fishing buddy hooked me in the head with a double 10 bucktail musky fishing. Knocked me out cold and put two divots in my skull, and 25 stitches. Wear your sunglasses and pick you fishing buddies wisely my friends.

  4. Almost identical to my Heddon Crazy Crawler from 1954. My Crawler is still mounted on my South Bend Smoothcast reel and 4’ steel rod that my dad bought me in ‘54. Hasn’t been used in about 65 years, but maybe I should take it out.
