Want to watch me catch a giant bag of Smallmouth Bass?! Click here: https://youtu.be/w9tqO19lTCg
I have never fished for bass, but when i was a youngster on vacation, we went to a beautiful lake called "Woods Lake," in BC. They used to have a kids derby for what are now called Pike Minnow.
We used to use hotdog pieces to catch them and we could win chocolate bars or fishing tackle. One morning i was standing on the dock and as i watched the Pike Minnow chase our bait, this massive fish swam in right on the bottom. It was not a carp, it had to be an 8 to 10 lb bass!!! Sadly we haf to leave that day. That fish haunts me today, 48 years later!
Good video brotha. Solid info!
Another great video brother!!! If you are around the Gainesville area hit me up and I’ll show you around some private lakes to get some non pressured giants on your line.
Nice vid and good luck this season 🍿🍻🎣🍀
Make sure you don't forget your sunscreen when you come down here to Florida and a couple of jackets the weather has been mid 80s part of the week and in the 60s for the rest
Great info. I’m really enjoying your videos.
nice vid bud tight lines
This was a very helpful video! especisally being brand new kayak fishing!!!
Such a great representation of successful tournament strategy. Really curious to hear the feedback from anglers on this one!
As an off season video it nailed the situation I'm in perfectly.
I'm constantly telling myself I need to leave my comfort zone of fishing the shallows in order to improve.
I have somewhat of a self inflicted handicap of not yet upgrading to a fish finder with side scan or mapping.
I hear people speak of Navionics as a useful tool.
Any thoughts, opinions, or recommendations ?
Some really good points in this! There are some good anglers that find em shallow to but the capacity for anglers to do well shallow is much smaller being that there is less area.
Are you typically looking for “sneaky” offshore areas or willing to fish the obvious too?
