Love to see you break the pattern of putting in effort and fish on the bank. Some of the most exciting sessions I had, loosing fish or just sighting them where more memorable than the easy hookups and catches. Like wading a big reservoir fishing for monster trout, catching nothing and at the end of the day a giant swimming upo to my waders and halting there for a hunting place resting at my knees. Break the patterns and be unpredictable, as the hunt for big fish is and many thanks for all of your content!! Ps sheer dedication not to switch baits here…

I can't help but think if you used a frog or a spook you would've caught a ton of fish.
Was there some reason why you did not realize after just a few minutes that the fish were not attracted to the lure you were throwing? It seems pretty obvious to those of us watching your video. Why on earth did you not change baits to something smaller?
