Today’s trip was one that needed multiple lures to get the job done. The Texas rig never lets me down. The crank is something that has continued to do work all year long. I only found one topwater fish, but anything on topwater is fun soooo…. Let’s go catch some feesh and have fun!

Fall fishing has been tough this year . I can’t get on a consistent bite to save my life . A Bitsy Bug Jig has been the best and most consistent fish catcher all year
You seem like a really cool dude so I’m going to ask and you can decide, could you please stop calling the small handles on reels sissy handles? Either p***y handles or sissy handles are derogatory to two different sets of people and I’d appreciate less of that. Anyway I really enjoy your videos and it’s just a small thing for you to conciser. I didn’t see a way to contact you privately so if you wish you delete this I won’t take offense.
Great video Debo, for me it's been a double willow spinnerbait. The bite has been slow, but it gets me a few.
Great viDebo! Love me both weightless and pegged Texas rigs!
It’s been a rough fall for me. Only made it out a few times to a stingy local lake in September and maybe caught one dink for the month. Only one (bass) trip in October so far and not a bite to show for it… Thankful for some saltwater action in October that even allowed me to add a new species!
Losing the big one stings. That was me all spring long.
My last couple times out the bass puzzle grass piece has been absolutely crushing it. Other than that I would say the citizen micros and spinnerbaits have been catching the most fish for me. Thanks for sharing Debo I normally throw the free rig more than the Texas rig maybe I’ll have to try using a Texas rig more often. Appreciate the video hopefully you had a great week, tight lines as always 👊🏻💯
I’d be willing to wager if you review all the film from this year, your bait of the year has to be the popper not the crank
nice day it looks like. I use the clean up craw as a buzz bait trailer. for pitching and flipping I like the bronco bug, or pit boss.
Hey Debo, the grass has been slowly dying off in the ponds so I’ve been cranking & having pretty decent luck. The old rattle traps & the best times have been just before dark. Oh, also the war eagle 3/8 oz double willow spinnerbaits have been good also 👊
I agree Elements are great
Nice fish sir
What kind of fish finder do you use on your kayak
My Revo sx gave up on me. The sideplate wont go on properly anymore and the casting is messed up. Im not sure what happened but something isnt right..
Last Saturday I was fishing a hover rig and a keitech when I hooked up the biggest smallmouth I've caught all year and I tried to turn it to pull it out of the current and my line went slack. I reeled in my 30lb braid and the loop knot was still intact. I believe it was a hook failure but boat hopping a 4lb one afterwards made me feel a little better. Thanks for all the fun work you do Debo
Always have at least one Texas rig tied on, quite often two. Top 3 bait for me. Looking forward to the live tomorrow night Debo.
I have caught most all my Fish in the past few years on the Texas Rig and absolutely Love it and it’s my Confidence Setup I always turn to. Great to see you out there and great casting in that Kayak my friend.
Great video. Def true about zombie mode or a day where I’m catching non stop 1.25lbers and then stop setting the hook only to lose big fish of the day.
Debo great video and information catch first bass the other day on a micro popper than catch one a spinnerbait slow rolling it and it's great seeing happy
How many questions how long was that fish?
I've always had to throw the kitchen sink at these bass. The only time i can find a pattern is on a small skinny body of water.
Good call cutting the footage where you did after losing that big guy..
I agree with you, how hard it would be to lose a big one while tournament fishing. Keep up the great job with your videos.
The Texas Rig that never fails would be the one I use. It is almost always snag-proof. I'd only lose one or two throughout the whole day if that. The rig is derived from trout fishing and combined with the bass style. I've found the perfect Texas rig and no one knows about it.
Bro don't feel bad about losing a 4lber, my last outing I lost a 6lb plus and then after that didn't even get a bite lol. But….I had caught a 5.5lber the cast before losing the 6lb plus one 😂.
Think you mixed up the topwater bait in the description. Great video though!
Starting with the Wild Thing!!
