  1. Sorry man but saying that you’re being hypocritical, you fish baits that are “knockoffs” the whole bait world is that way, every single style or design of a bait was created by someone and then more companies jump on the bandwagon and create their version of it, I get so sick and tired of people crying knockoff knockoff, yet they fish with knockoff baits every time they fish‼️

  2. Damn…… Which Company do you guys think should be made to quit selling trucks (since they are all so similarly innovated year after year) Ford, Chevy, Toyota or GMC ??? 🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️

  3. Nobody talks about the pro who’s notorious for stealing lure designs and ideas from Japan and taking credit for it. None other than Ike himself.

  4. Zoom was going to sue netbait cause they had the little bumps on the claws and had the zoom chunk legs on there Paca craw so netbait had to change the claws on the paca craw I haven’t really paid it much attention but zoom will bully people to change there baits but yet zoom was copying poes and bagley on there crankbaits among other companies they have copied from

  5. Since you asked, I think the whole sport has gone to shit and a big part of it is the tackle manufacturers. There's an old saying in business that "excess profits bring ruinous competition". I don't agree with companies copying true innovation but has there been any…really? I would say not much as far as baits go. I'd bet 90% of a baits price is marketing and profit. F them all including Megabass and their $500 rods and $30 crankbaits.

  6. I get they are being copied but mega bass didnt invent the goby or the keel weighted lure with a hook in the top. I had storm lures like that long before the dark sleeper came around

  7. When the SPRO/KGB Chad Shad came out I payed close attention. I remember the plastic Arbogast version of the A/C Plug, after being a hue fan of Allen Cole's. It was a heartbreaker. But Spro treated KGB well and with mutual respect as a peer, not as a tool. I highly recommend watching the BTL podcast with Kgb and Spro's Syd Rives. If anyone wants to here about the history of the A/C Plug and it's various licensees, from Allen Cole himself a couple of months ago, watch the Big Bass Podcast.

The way KGB and Spro collaborated is how it should be done. It's how things used to be done. Being a Gen X'r, I caught the tail end of corporations having a true sense of civic duty, like IBM used to have. I remember wearing a Microsoft T-Shirt in 1990. Nobody ever heard of them then. I remember when Google's slogan and code of conduct was ":Don't be Evil". To this day, Google felt the need to actually remove the slogan and code of conduct, since 2000. That's before 2001! The year Communist China was allowed to enter the WTO. It was Pandoras Box and the Mafia rolled into one. Once you become a member you're Made For Life. There is no exit procedure in the WTIO. To reimpose the annual trade with China assessment, revoking the "Permanent Trade Relations with China Act" from China today, would mean violating WTO protocol.

The Biden/China ties are ao shameless, it really seems to echo the origins of such corruption from Bill Clinton. A truly disturbing fact about the Clinton fioundation is the unnusualy high unnatural death rate of people that worked there. It's way beyond the average statistics for other NGOs (other than those in China and Russia).

Bill Clinton had ties with China way before he became governor of Arkasas. And Ross Perot? WTF??? He just avoided the Limelight after he divided the conservative vote, giving the 1992 election to Clinton. It's all a part of history, but unfortunately it's not as easy as it used to be to look up, because "Net Neutrality" was repealed by Trump. So, of course Google is "curating" search results, and now millennials are not just naive, but they're being misinformed based on a false neo morality. IT'S THE TAIL WAGGING THE DOG. God help us all if we can't help ourselves, like the Americans we used to be.

  8. I watched ike's podcast with the Berkley "designer" of the Nessie. i remember the conversation as being about how he came up with the configuration details and components from scratch. It was "pure" shameless gaslighting. They might as well have had Mike Long design the Nessie, and say he's never heard of Grow Design Works or the Flag 170/255.

  9. Berkley is destroying the innovators and therefore destroying cutting edge innovation. They don't care about the sport. Ever since Carl Icahn (I con) bought Pure Fishing They just care about profits and their stock prices. CORPORATISM has no soul, yet the Citizens United ruling allows them to have the same rights as human beings. If Berkley had the people to drive the innovation they would have. But, they don't. Because, all they have are corporate automatons who are afraid of being creative because they are afraid of being replaced like a bad cog.

True innovators recognize that breakthroughs happen when you allow people to make mistakes, as long as something is learned. People are not replaced, because the investment is in people, not the department or CEO's golden parachute. AND THINGS TOOK A TURN FOR THE WORSE WHEN CHINA WAS ALLOWED TO COMPETE WITH THEIR HORRIFIC METHODS. IT VIRTUALLY NORMALIZED THEIR INHUMANITY TY PUTTING A PRICE TAG ON HUMANITY.

  10. I agree 100%. Japan lure designs are prime targets. I see pros move away from a Japanese sponsor and then have their new sponsor make them a replacement knockoff. I do not buy the products. I support innovation not imitation. Randy feel free to call them out.
