  1. Great channel, Gene, been enjoying it for years. I live in Florida. A year before this video you did another Florida vid in which you described rigging paddle tails upside down on chatterbaits. In this more recent vid, I noticed all your EZ’s are rigged right-side-up. Did you determine from experience that right side up works just fine?

  2. I'm having great luck with junebug grubs and swim jigs this year. But, what the heck do the bass think this is?!? What natural swimming prey is blue? Just retired to Florida a year & a half ago so don't have history/fishing history down here.

  3. I'm in FL and you are right, especially with the colors. Only thing you could add is a ribbon tail worm. You have to fish them a little slower to get good action with the tail but it drives them crazy! And sometimes, when it's overcast, a whopper plopper or buzz bait will work all day!

  4. I walked in a mom and pop shop near me here in pa and they had some green fish swim jigs I picked a few up in the bluegill color can't wait for it to warm up and throw it around

  5. Berkley just came out with the Boss Speed worm- has the pit boss legs on it- really cool swimming worm. I watched a guy fishing a saddle a few days go with them and he was flat tearing them up- right in the deepest part of the saddle, on a light unpegged Texas rig, at about 10 feet. I watched hm catch 6 really nice ones before I split, and he was still going when I left. Went straight to TW and bought a pack- along with the boss grubs- really interesting baits

  6. Man- take that senko and add a punch skirt and a heavy weight- they say it's one of the best punching setups for Florida waters. No idea why it would work but I've heard enough different people talk about it to know it's obviously a Florida thing. People in Florida know things none of the rest of us know- like why it's a good idea to try and force feed an alligator a beer- with no shirt on. Apparently removing one's shirt is a prerequisite to being arrested in Florida- very rare to see a man being arrested who has his shirt on. I saw three people get arrested while i was there- two men and a woman- and no one had a shirt on. And they were not together- these were three separate incidents- all shirtless. It may sound nice but trust me, it wasn't- at all. Some things you can't un-see- once the image is burnt into your retina, you'll take it to the grave. I think this lady's blood type was Ragu.

  7. Looks like I'm somewhat on point here in FL I would have to give that gold color jerkbait and rattle a try. Thanks for the picture with my son and I on the Kissimmee chain KBF awards 💪😎👊.

  8. I like the red shad power worm and use it a lot here in GA also. That seems to be one of my best colors for worms. The craw baits are good in watermelon.
