I dont put much stock into the BASS v MLF stuff. But as far as entertainment value for watching a fishing tournament…the MLF format is far better and its not close. 5 bag limit just cant compete with finishes like this.

MLF has had two great tournaments in a row. They wanted a format that builds excitement for the viewer. Think they are delivering and have dialed in the right format.
I was curious to know how big Jacob’s last bass was even though it was after time expires.
The only thing I can think to offer up is when they go to a new lake, the auto qualifier (Justin Lucas in this case) should have some sort of advantage. Maybe they give him a 2 hour window to ride around the new lake. Not fish the new lake. Maybe graph what they can in 2 hours. But just something to reward the qualifying round winner with for the new lake and make it valuable to win that round.
Unbelievable finish! MLF needs to be live on TV the way they show the Bassmaster. I prefer MLF's format and coverage!
