I’ve noticed the difference between my bass boat and kayak. I’ve watched bass swim under the kayak when sitting still
Dude so many guys come barreling up on spots full throttle. I stop a ways out put the trolling motor down and sneak in. You’re right – it makes a difference. I’ve also noticed if I can drift through an area and not use the trolling motor at all that helps as well.
I fish out of a kayak and I've found this to be true. If i can cast at say a laydown from a further distance, I seem to get a lot more bites than if i get up close. For sure.
Excellent analogy with the train reference
Also, well done with the advice for bank fishermen and their approach to the water. My kids, when they were little, used to race to their favorite spots when pond fishing and spook the fish. 😆
That said, it’s a concept that adults I've taken fishing sometimes fail to consider.
Great video. Say is that a new ikon?
I vote for Free hat a/ purchase of the Sun shirt!!!!! Come on!! You know you want to!! 👌 💰
I’d be curious what your thoughts are on bright neon clothing as well as talking quite loud? I fish with a friend who feels fish can’t hear so he’s, well..loud 🤷♂️
Chase fish not graphs. 😂
I learned this lesson when I was in my teens when stream fishing for trout. You had to stay way off the bank and present the bait so it came by them naturally. I would sneak along the bank and walk very slowly and stealthy. Also making sure that my shadow would not cast across where they would set up.I still think about that when I approach an area from my boat.
I'm with you. I do a lot of bank river fishing and wading. I try to wear darker colors and move slowly. I just added rubber pads to both ends of my kayak to deaden the anchor noise when I pull it up.
Tyler your exactly right ✅️
Percentages put odds in your favor
I quit watching and of the Bass live or BPT live streams because I get sick of seeing them looking down all day, it truly sucks but if you notice no one on the BPT team tournaments have FFS on their boats and it’s like the good ol’ days
Ty
U need to get 4x shirts
Us old guys love to fish but we love to eat Also
I enjoy fishing and fish a lot of tournaments
But some of us need the big boy clothes
I just got a sun shirt 3x and we’ll need I say more
Anyway I look forward to watching your videos everyday
I’ve been watching some of your earliest ones U are awesome buddy God bless
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
This is gold!
Keep up the great work Tyler!
How does the noise of ffs affect bass?
I was going to talk shit like everyone else online after a couple drinks. But actually good video. Things not everyone thinks about
Do you think deploying (lowering) your boats power poles anchor system scares bass? The arms creaking and extending downwards, the hydraulic pumps humming through the boat hull? I do.
I don't know how many times its happen to me. Walking up to the bank and seeing fish swim away. Something i always say im going to work on and always remember when it's too late. Lol
FFS you said a bad word .lol😅
Late in the day yesterday. Lee made a handful of casts in an area before he even put the trolling motor in before he caught a decent one.
Great tips like I have said I am new at bass fishing and your tips makes perfect sense thank you
I'm a train man too. I also like to cast beyond the stump, or stick up and draw it back across. Sometimes when I'm fishing a crankbait that floats, I have a hard time tossing it under limbs. What I do is get it close, let it sit, then gently move over closer to overhanging limbs and reel it in under the limbs into the shadows. Still doesn't work but at least I covered that spot.
Couldn’t agree more . Stealth is key . Great stuff as always
Thanks for the tips Tyler. Really appreciate it.
