In this video, I put on some miles VERY early in the morning to capitalize on a bite I have only dreamed of until now.
Like I said in the intro, this video does not have as much talking as most of mine do, as I am literally tip toeing around the dock, whispering, trying to not scare any of the giant fish.
Catching a crappie of this caliber is a dream come true, and I hope it happens again before i kick the minnow bucket!
Once the sun hit the water, the fish were GONE! But the memories are forever! THANK YOU FOR WATCHING, PLEASE LIKE, COMMENT, AND SUBSCRIBE!
Leave it to Ty to catch another Fish of a Lifetime! Thank you so much for showing us how hard work and dedication pay off! We're all inspired to get out there and do it ourselves.. You're greatly appreciated, Ty Guy! 👊💪
ONE CRITIQUE, WEIGH THEM BIGGER ONES OR AT LEAST THROW A TAPE ON EM VIDEO HARD TO TELL IF WHAT THEY MIGHT WEIGH
I've only ever seen one crappie that size. You caught a whole pile of them in one spot in one day.
What a huge crappie I wouldn't have believed they could get that big if I didn't see it myself.
YEAH ITS A 30 INCH CRAPPIE. AMAZING
My memory of the unreal and insane was made in winter 1980 when I accompanied a very accomplished fisherman that had found how to combine many different techniques and following a script of his own writing. The day started in the dark in his driveway and ended back there about noon. It was first ice, about 2”, and we each pulled out a sheet of plywood to stand on with holes that by eye and tape measure exceeded regulation, drilled and sawed out. Over 29’ of water, we pulled out 50 of the largest crappies I have ever seen, the biggest one was 22.5” long. He said you could only catch them in that spot under exactly those circumstances until noon the first day you had 2” of ice, then you were done until next year. Thank you for posting this content.
I cant believe you released them sob bro. Those were some slabs. I wish i could catch em like that here in Indiana.
I saw the old minnesota state record crappie get caught. 4lbs 8oz. Thing was unreal to see.

Wow, beautiful fish
What beautiful and healthy fish you displayed. Congrats man!
"an honor to be in the presents of a fish like that",🤨, I really like fishing-n-all, I'm actually redoing the seats in my bass-boat now, but lets keep the animal-worshiping down to a minimum.😉👌
Those were giants.. got on a bunch like that 3 weeks ago ares were 2lb crappies almost all of then and we caught over 60!!! How much did your biggest crappie weigh?
Damn trophy bass size crappie.. beautiful fish…
hard not to catch big fish when they have been farmed and locked in a fish tank.. just saying.. you give fish a bad rep.. get a life
Went to cj strike in idaho, caught 20 all that size
It's a nice one
One was caught in Tennessee that was like five or six pounds
I literally rewatched this video 5 times in the past year
Ty, Why not capture the measurables for GIANT trophies like that? Let us see the length and weight man!
My brother caught a 4.5 pound Black Nose. What did those weigh? My PB is 2.5 pounds.
I'm a crappy fisherman, no doubt.
Did you weigh any of those tanks! My biggest black crappie is 2lbs, 13oz and I fish mainly in Pennsylvania and Delaware and New Jersey
Where did you guys go which lake?
put that bad boy in a bass pro tank
Where is this place? Id love to catch some of these monsters with my dad on vacation!
Love the content. We'd like to see some actual weights and lengths.
Wow that is BIG 🙏
Holy smokes, I can't believe the size of those slabs! Geebus!
That's a nice pier with removable deck sections.
I caught a 2.5 crappie today it was insane how big it is
Absolutely phenomenal Crappie there my friend. And in my book what’s even more phenomenal is that you turned them all loose. Thank you very much for that! Got my thumbs up for sure and I’d give you ten if I could!! 💯 💯💯👍👍👍
Where are you fishing at ?
Black Crappie have to be one of the most attractive fish in fresh water. Fun to catch, too!
A few years ago a friend of mine was living in a neighbor hood that had a pond in the center with the houses around it. Any way he was bass fishing with rattle traps but all he caught was crappie, several were close to 3lbs. I think he depleted the crappie out of that pond by the time he moved.
Stop using a fisheye lens on your camera to make your fish look bigger. Smh.
Massive
1st fish i ever caught was a crappie…. about 1/8 the size of that one lol. that is a monster fish
“Dude! Dude!” Nice crappie!
