With water temps in the 80s and an abundance of baitfish everywhere, the summer bass pattern seems to be in full effect! Matt and I head to the Occoquan Reservoir in search of some feed bass. The morning topwater bite was fast and furious, but once the sun came up we slowed down our presentation with some finesse jigs targeting shallow structure/cover.
