Kayak fishing targeting Bass on Highland Reservoirs during the Pre-spawn is exciting! During this period, Bass are likely to be the most aggressive they will be all year. On this day that was definitely the case, as I found some highly active Bass while fishing a few different types of spinnerbaits. While facing the conditions of muddy water, I chose to throw predominantly brighter colors like all white, or bright red.
