Check out my thoughts on my swimbait reel of choice. The Daiwa Tatula 300 featuring the magforce dial for quick adjustments on the fly and the TWS T-wing system for maximum casting distance. Followed by an interesting eat on the SU x Rago D3 swimbait.

Can you use this reel to cast 9 oz lures on a regular basis or will it wear out too fast? Great videos by the way.
What model is that perch glide bait at the end of your vid? The one closest to the camera?
What’s lightest you throw on that?
What size line are you using for this setup? Thanks
Next on the list
how is it compare to a tranx 300? in terms of casting distance, internals, and reliability? thanks!
I love my Lexa twx but I wanna try the tat 300. If I'd wIted another month I'd have gore the tat, they weren't out yet. ThinkPad the Lexa is tougher but the magforce z brakes on the tat are better than the nagforce on my lexa.
broke mine second outing the thumb bar wouldnt return back sometimes
I’ve had a tranx 300 for years recently got a Tatula 300 and must say it casts much better it is more consistent and casts farther.
Just ordered the Tutula 300 for northern pike, it was that or the Curado k 300 and honestly pretty hyped for my first Daiwa baitcaster!
You like it over say a steez or zillion?
I was a die hard shimano guy own 4 tranx from 200 to 400 have curados 1 200 3 300 a conquest and my beginning days a few cardiffs one day bought a new rod but they were out of tranx and curados so I bought a tatula 300 5;3 for plastics omg I fell in love love brakes on outside I now own 3 and will probably stick with daiwa myself when buying new Great Video!!!! Cheers!! :))
Just ordered one for winter
I want to like this reel & I have mine paired w/ a Leviathan XH & using 2-4 oz baits w/ 20llb fluro consistently but can’t seem to dial it in to get those bomb casts w/o backlashing??
Can I use this reel on abu beast pro 60-260(2-8.5oz) gram rod for pike fishing? Or I need 400 size reel for baits over 5oz?
Got the 6.3 : 1 for my jerkbait rod, tested it and realized the gear ratio does not work with my baits. Got it replaced with 8.1 : 1 the same day. Keep that in mind.
Anyone know how to make the thumb bar click smoother? Thanks
I grabbed two 300 Lexa-WN reels I have not looked back. Daiwa T wing system. Is a game changer🔥
Just subd! I also use 300’s and love em for all the reasons you mentioned.
Q: What baits are you throwing, when you spoil up with the 20lb Izorline? Trying to dial in my line’s. Thx!
Hola como estas? Acabo de comprar Daiwa 300 HSL pero cual me recomendas para comprar Multifilmamento y Caña? Muchas Gracias
What kind of rod are you using and what lines have you used on the 300??? I am considering one, been casting down to the backing on my old Type R. Also thought of using my Zillion TWS for larger baits, but that is the same capacity as the original Tatula. All my other reels are SV or MGL and too low of capacity, just river finesse fishing doesn't require heavy line.
I would plan to use the 300 or even 400 with a bit of backing and around 100 yards of 25lb fluorocarbon or straight up full of 65lb braid. Planning to through 5.8-7.8 Keitechs and maybe a few glide baits/big swimbaits/A-rigs if or when I get them. Thanks for the content!!!
Letssss go
Good shit man! Keep em coming!
I need to mess around with the tats, my k sounds like it may be on its last leg by the end of the season
