It was windy and cold, but that’s what the striped bass love! I knew it was going to be good when the skies were dark and the water was free of seaweed. I was able to hook up on three striped bass and a bunch of perch. I was mainly throwing the Lucky Craft, but when the waves calmed down, I threw a super light swimbait and got a surprise catch. The striper must have hit 10 feet from the beach, so that just goes to show that casting distance isn’t everything.

How do u rig ur lures for sur perch? Do u do Caroline rig or just a jig head?
Nice fishing…we had some great fishing in socal this past weekend. Corbina..perch..halibut. I have yet to see striped bass in our area but always hunting.
