Bass fishing soft stickbaits is one of the best ways to catch bass across the country. The senko style bait, or soft stickbait catches fish in ponds, lakes, river, creeks or anywhere.

When it comes to fishing a Yamamoto Senko, one fo the biggest tips I can tell you, is don’t fish too thin of a hook when you wacky rig it. This will cause you to lose a ton of stickbaits which makes fishing rough.

Another thing that people don’t do with Senkos is fish them weightless in deeper water. This takes a lot of patience but can be one of the best ways to catch bass once you find them.

BassFishingHQ is dedicated to teaching people how to catch more and bigger bass. I will go over different bass fishing tips & techniques that will put more fish in the boat or on the shore. Whether you are just starting out or a seasoned tournament angler, my goal is to help you catch more bass.

  1. Do they float or have salt. Like the one that floats. I don't use the O'ring I started to use zip ties with the nail holder on them like electric work kind in clear zips. The hook doesn't touch the worms.

  2. I like a 1/16oz wacky hook, casts better and will get to that 5-10ft deep easy without messing up the action. Especially if I am not using heavy salt filled stick baits.

  3. Tyler, u need try David Dudleys senkos. There's only 1 moto senko for sure. Dudleys are little fatter, and hair longer, more salt. He has used them all, won a ton of money, then put all good ones into 1.

  4. I'll never buy another senko again the yum dinger I caught three 4-5 pounders on one worm in two different trips and I've never had it not sink when fished weightless even wacky style

  5. The yamamoto is the best one its heavier and has more movement than the others but its soft and you will lose them when wacky riging them and you can shove a nail weight in the head of the senko when wakcy rigging and i thing it gets more bites than a weighless one
